PROJECTS, WORKSHOPS & COOPERATIONS

2016

Are you out yet, Globala Kronoberg, Växjö
Collaboration with NGO Global Kronoberg in arranging workshops in Växjö summer of 2016. Together with artist Anna Walther I planned and delivered creative workshops focusing on activating public space, art and activism. During 10 days we worked with 24 participants from Spain, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Poland and Sweden in conversations, creative workshops and direct actions in public space.

2016

Skapande Skola, ReMida, Vaggeryds kommun
Creative School is a project initiated by The Swedish Arts Council (a public authority under the Swedish Ministry of Culture) to strengthen the cooperation between education and professional cultural workers, aiming to give youth access to artistic expressions and experiences. I was invited to Remida, a place where waste material is used in education under the pedagogy of Reggio Emilia, to do workshop with students age 10-11. Through a workshop in stop-motion animation the students created machine parts to a large machinery where every part is necessary.

2013-now

ArtAct, Yerevan, Armenien
2013 I received a grant from Erik and Göran Ennerfelts foundation which made it possible for me to spend a litte more than a year in Armenia with my proposed project. I was hoping to create a space for creativity, art and important conversation with an emphasis on gender and equality together with local artist, activists and NGO’s. It was soon developed into an independent group of young activists who see artistic expression as an activist tool when working for positive social change. The initiative was named ArtAct and produces posters, arrange workshops, talks, lectures, social campaigns and different actions

2015

Workshop series, Women’s Resource Centre Armenia
I was invited to give a series of workshop in digital images and poster production at Women’s Resource Center Armenia. The series gave participants knowledge in digital photo editing, poster production and other graphical skills for web and print. The practical workshops were combined with exercises aiming at creating a critical reflection on how media and commercial messages are using image and text and introducing different ways of appropriating, changing and commenting on this by methods such as subvertising and culture jamming.

2012

YAPP-Young artist production program, Botkyrka Konsthall
Cooperation with Botkyrka Art Center and Tullinge Upper High Shool giving workshops in the art center. Imperatives found in different lifestyle magazine created the foundation for the reoccurring conversations and artistic explorations together with the students. Through embroidery, performance, games and installations the imperatives were transformed and given new meaning. The work was transformed and presented as an installation in the exhibition “Botkyrka: State of Craft”.

2011

Cultural camp EVS, Armenien
2011 I was invited to volunteer at a series of cultural camps at the Armenian country side together with a local NGO. This was the starting point for my engagement with local initatives and NGO’s in the country.

2010

From Trash to Treasure, Gislaveds kommun
I was granted a small grant from Wilhelm and Martina Lundgrens stiftelse for a project in up-cykling Through visiting recycling stations and local industries I gathered trash and transformed it to treasures instead.
